![]() ![]() I found that in Linux the best way to mount SMB shares is through fstab. I would hate to have to support this for 1000 users - which is what I used to do for a living. ![]() I am going to use Bookmarks for the root level of all my computers with shares in nemo. Not possible due to upstream issues with samba and gnome gvfs core. Thanks in advance for any advice or info. I can see shares if I explicitly use the smb:// nomenclature. I have WSDD loaded on all Linux machines with shares, including the machine I'm on now. Is this wrong or is this expected behavior in SMB3 network? I click on Windows Network and it's blank. I click on Network, and it displays my machine name and Windows Network. I want to replicate this behavior in nemo. You click on a machine, and the shares populate from there. In Windows, you click on Network and then it populates machines that have shares. Mixed Windows 11, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and Linux Mint 21.1. It won't populate the Windows (SMB3) network shares that exist on my network. I am trying to daily drive Linux Mint 21.1, but I'm having a problem with nemo and smb. ![]()
